When we were crafting a response to this question for the FAQ, we realized that we couldn't fit everything we wanted to say on this topic into one paragraph. This is an important question that concerns many of our clients, and it deserves a separate article.
Let's start by stating that we have no interest in causing harm to your bot, let alone deleting it. Deleting and blocking bots doesn't bring much benefit, so our goal is to provide a high-quality and useful service.
It's not possible. A bot is code and data stored on your servers or on the servers of your bot builder, and we don't have access to them.
This refers to disrupting the functions of your bot. The likelihood of certain functions in your bot ceasing to work is extremely low. We do not alter the data passing through our system. Unfortunately, even the largest companies experience hiccups, and in this case, we are no exception. However, we continually monitor the performance of our systems and strive to make the infrastructure as robust as possible.
From our experience, issues more often arise with Telegram than with us 😎). By the way, you can check the availability of our services and view statistics on [this page](https://graspil.cronitorstatus.com (you can always find this link in the footer of the website (at the very bottom))
If you connect your bot via API, in this case, your bot is not under threat (assuming the programmer connects everything correctly and handles errors that may occur when connecting the server). The worst that can happen is the loss of some statistical data.
Our system may even make your bots more resilient as we log all errors and their speed of operation. In case of problems, you will receive a notification, and your technical specialists can review the issues in the error log and fix them.
This situation may arise, for example, if you have a large bot with a significant amount of traffic that doesn't fit into the free plan, or if your bot violates rules, such as trading prohibited substances. In these cases, we reserve the right to disable the bot.
Before disabling a bot, we will attempt to contact you several times to resolve any issues. That's why we request more of your contact details. If we cannot reach you for an extended period, we will be forced to stop accepting data from your bot.
If your bot operates through a webhook method, and our system has your bot's token, we will reset the settings to the initial state in the Telegram Bot API, and your bot will continue to work as usual.
If your bot is connected via API, we will stop receiving data from your servers, and your bot will continue to operate normally, but analytics will cease to function. In other cases, we will stop receiving data, and the bot will cease to operate (let's avoid this 😔).
